Oxford University Powerlifting Club

 

The Powerlifting Varsity Match will be taking place this Sunday, March 8, at 11AM at the OURFC gym in North Hinksley.  It is generously being hosted by Oxford Powersports (www.oxfordpowersports.com).

Weigh-in will take place at 9:30AM sharp, and lifting will commence at 11AM.

It is about a 10-15min drive down the Botley Road, so it is likely about a 30min cycle or 10GBP cab.

For all those individuals who are helping run the meet, and are competing (namely the squad + helpers), Matthew Llewlyn-Jones is arranging rides to the venue.  Please contact him directly (bob312438772@hotmail.com).  

CUPLC is fielding 8 competitors, while OUPLC is fielding 10.  Given how successful the club has been both in the gym and at local competitions, the CUPLC boys had better be ready to battle.

If you haven't already done so, and would like to help run the meet (in particular, we need a camera man/woman), please contact Matt directly (and as soon as possible).
